Scenes from AHR Expo 2016Duro Dyne exhibited at the AHR Expo in Orlando from Jan 25-27. This was Duro Dyne’s 55th year exhibiting at the Expo and we have always taken it as an opportunity to showcase our latest innovations and demonstrate them in the booth.
This year’s attendance was fantastic and crowds gathered on the first day to try a hand on demo of the new machines in our booth which included: the PLSU, FDCC, MF12A, SSFU, Rod Lock Insertion Tool and a rebuilt FG machine.
The new PLSU features a slew of handy features but most notable is the gear driven slitter and a pull driven cross cut. This new cutting action will allow the PLSU to be more powerful and accommodate virtually all insulation on the market.
The FDCC now comes standard with straightening rolls to combat the curl set of the flexible duct connector. It also carries up to three rolls of 4x4 connector, with each roll on a set of ball transfers making material handling a breeze.
The Rod Lock Insertion Tool allows insertion of rod locks into hollow pipe with the flip of a switch! This was undoubtedly a major hit at the show as attendees were in awe of the time saving from the standard hammer in method.
Our rebuilt FG Machine was welding pins flawlessly all day long for the three day expo. This machine showcased our new rebuild program and showed a large 6ft high banner along side of it of the ‘before’ image.
